ONDO GCK TESTIMONY: WOMAN ESCAPES GUNMEN ATTACK AFTER ‘DIVINE DELAY’ AT TOTAL DOMINION CRUSADE

A participant at the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) in Ondo City, Ondo State, has shared a striking testimony of survival after what she described as a Spirit-led delay prevented her from encountering a violent gunmen attack.

‎The attendee, Ms. Dolapo from Akinjagunla District, said an unusual hesitation kept her from traveling early to Owena Market—unknowingly sparing her from a kidnapping incident that occurred along the same route.

‎The testimony, delivered during the ongoing Total Dominion Through Christ edition of the GCK, highlights what participants describe as divine intervention and spiritual sensitivity.

‎According to Ms. Dolapo, the experience followed an earlier personal breakthrough she had received during the crusade—deliverance from persistent sleeplessness that previously required medication.

‎Though she initially overlooked sharing that testimony, she said she felt prompted to return with thanksgiving—and asked God for an additional testimony.

‎“I asked God to add one more blessing so I wouldn’t be sharing just one testimony on the second day of the GCK, and God did,” she recounted.

‎Narrating the incident, she explained that she had planned to leave home around 5:00 a.m. to catch a vehicle to Owena Market before resuming work at 8:00 a.m.

‎However, she experienced an unexplained inner resistance that delayed her departure until about 7:00 a.m.

‎Upon finally boarding a vehicle at daybreak, she and other passengers received shocking news: armed attackers had ambushed an earlier vehicle conveying traders—mostly women—to the same market route.

Several victims were reportedly kidnapped, while the driver sustained serious injuries.

‎Ms. Dolapo said she later saw the scene of the attack, initially mistaking it for an accident site, before learning of the true events.

‎“It dawned on me that the delay I experienced was not ordinary. That constraint preserved my life,” she said.

‎Responding to the testimony, the presiding minister at the GCK viewing center in Agiodo, Pastor Bosede Samuel, emphasized the importance of spiritual awareness among believers.

‎He warned that a lack of sensitivity to divine guidance could leave individuals vulnerable, urging attendees to remain receptive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

‎Citing Numbers 14:28, he encouraged participants to make specific faith-based requests during the crusade, noting that clear expectations often precede remarkable testimonies.

‎The GCK, convened by Pastor Dr. W.F. Kumuyi,  has grown into a widely recognized international outreach platform, reaching audiences in over 180 countries through physical gatherings, satellite broadcasts, and digital streaming.

‎The March 2026 edition, themed Total Dominion Through Christ, is drawing both onsite and virtual participants, including large gatherings across Ondo State and beyond.

‎The Agiodo center itself reflects the expanding footprint of the crusade, having evolved from earlier outreach efforts during April, 2024 Canada Conference,   into a growing hub for community transformation and spiritual engagement.

‎As the program continues through March 28, 2026, organizers say testimonies like Ms. Dolapo’s reinforce the GCK’s mission, offering a platform not only for gospel proclamation but also for experiences, participants describe as divine preservation, intervention, and blessing.
