UN URGES ACTION AS 8 IN 10 YOUNG AFGHAN WOMEN EXCLUDED FROM EDUCATION AND JOBS

The United Nations has reported that eight out of ten young Afghan women are now excluded from education, employment, and training opportunities, signaling a steep decline in their human development.
The report which was revealed via it’s official media channel noted that since the Taliban’s took over in August 2021, women and girls in Afghanistan have fallen further behind global standards for human development.
The UN however continues to work on the ground in Afghanistan and is calling for the urgent prioritization of the rights and needs of Afghan women, emphasizing their right to live in dignity.
Despite the challenging circumstances, the UN maintains its commitment to advocating for Afghan women amid increasing restrictions.
