“INFORMATION GIVES ACCESS TO ALLOCATION”: YPF PRESIDENT CALLS FOR MINDSET SHIFT AS YOUNG PROFESSIONALS GEAR UP FOR YOU CAN BE MORE 2.0

President of the Young Professionals Forum (YPF) Ondo State–South, Mr. Akinola O. Mosobalaje, has called on young professionals, students and business owners across Nigeria to pursue a mindset shift that positions them for global relevance, stressing that “information gives access to your allocation” and that many remain POOR because they “Pass Over Opportunities Repeatedly.”

Mr Mosobalaje made this known during an exclusive interview with Jobeth Media on the eve of the highly anticipated YOU CAN BE MORE (YCBM) 2.0, scheduled to hold this weekend by 11:00 AM at the NIEPA Event Center, Ondo City.

The YPF President explained that YCBM 2.0 is designed as “a transformational encounter where young professionals discover that they can be more— more than their current status, more than their resources, more than their environment, and more than they ever imagined.”

Quoting Scripture, he emphasized the divine possibility of “exceedingly, abundantly above all we ask or think,” insisting that every young person is created with untapped global capacity.

“We may live locally,” he said, “but we must play our games globally. Jesus Christ is a global phenomenon; as His offspring, we are called to represent Him at a global level.”

According to him, Nigeria is standing on the edge of global transformation, with a median age hovering between 18 and 20. This places young people at the center of national and international relevance— if they are prepared.

“Many people are not poor because of money,” he noted. “They are poor because they lack information. When you are informed, you cannot be deformed. Information grants access to your allocation.”

He added that excellence, dignity, and integrity are non-negotiable virtues for any young professional seeking elevation on the world stage.

The president revealed that the event will host a powerful lineup of globally exposed and spiritually grounded voices, including:

  • Dr. Ayo Ogunsan– Keynote speaker, business magnate, and member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund.
  •  Dr. Ayo Oluwagunna– UNIBEN’s best graduating student (1996), intellectual powerhouse, handling a session on “Shattering Limits.”
  • Pastor Kayode Ogundele– Former Ondo State Head of Service, speaking on Faith and Politics.
  • Mrs. Tosin Olowoyeye-Taiwo– Consultant to the U.S. Consulate General and U.S. Mission alumna, teaching on Personal Purpose.
  • SMEDAN Manager for Ondo State– Bringing insights and opportunities for SMEs, grants, and enterprise scaling.

“These are not local champions,” Mosobalaje said. “They are global players— ambassadors, policymakers, consultants, leaders. And they are coming live to impart knowledge, grace, and global exposure.”

He also revealed that the event will feature miracles, impartations, mindset restructuring, and practical sessions designed to help attendees break limitations.

The YPF President stated that YPF has already transformed lives across Ondo State, with numerous testimonies of people who discovered purpose, gained clarity, and advanced professionally through previous engagements.

“This event is not about numbers,” he emphasized. “It is about impact. We want people to walk in, encounter wisdom, power and information, and walk out transformed.”

As the conversation ended, Mosobalaje urged every young person seeking direction, clarity, purpose, international relevance, or business growth to be present.

“Come with an open heart as the event—YOU CAN BE MORE 2.0, at NIEPA Event Center, Ondo City is open to young professionals, undergraduates, business owners, creatives, and anyone seeking a mindset shift, cultural shift, and spiritual elevation.”

“You’ll see things different from the norm. YOU CAN BE MORE 2.0 will be phenomenal. You can’t afford to miss it,” he emphasized.
