REVEREND GOODLUCK AKOMOH BURIED IN DELTA AS FAMILY, CHURCH MEMBERS PAY TRIBUTE TO LATE CLERIC
Family members, church leaders, friends and sympathisers gathered at Ogbike Quarters, Emevor in Delta State to bid farewell to former Sectional Leader and District Secretary of the Assemblies of God Church in Ondo State, Reverend Goodluck Efeigho Akomoh.

The late cleric, who died at the age of 62 after a brief illness, was laid to rest in his hometown amid tributes celebrating his years of service, leadership and dedication to the Christian faith.
The burial ceremony attracted church faithful from various Assemblies of God congregations, associates and relatives who described Reverend Akomoh as a humble leader, mentor and devoted family man whose impact would continue to be remembered.

Delivering the funeral message titled “Your Works Will Follow You,” Ondo District Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church, Reverend Emmanuel Eminowa, said death was inevitable for all mankind and urged Christians to live lives worthy of emulation.
According to him, the late Reverend Akomoh served God faithfully and remained committed to humility, peace and selfless service until his last days.
He also encouraged worshippers to prepare for eternity through repentance, righteous living and total surrender to God.
Colleagues of the deceased, including Reverend Obiahu Ibe and Pastor Femi Akingbesote, described him as a peaceful and dependable church leader who mentored many within the ministry.
Speaking on behalf of the family, the deceased’s younger brother, Mr Thompson Akomoh, said his death was a painful loss to the family and community.
The first son of the late cleric, Mr Goodness Goodluck, described his father as a disciplined prayer warrior and caring parent whose absence had created a huge vacuum in the family.

Late Reverend Goodluck Akomoh is survived by his wife, Reverend Goodnews Akomoh, children including Positive FM reporter Dorcas Goodluck, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and several spiritual sons and daughters.
The funeral ceremony in Emevor, Delta State, was marked by prayers, tributes and reflections on the enduring legacy of a man many described as committed to faith, humanity and community service.
